In the lower levels, there are quite a few highly touted prospects doing things. Touki Toussaint went 1-1 last week. He managed to lose a 3-0 game with 6 walks and 1 ER and win while giving up five runs in the other. Very odd week for him

If you recall two weeks ago, the Diamondbacks’ first ever signee out of Taiwan made his debut. Last week Wei-Chieh Huang continued his winning streak. He is now 3-0 in three starts while striking out 21 and walking 2 in 17.2 innings.

More from Venom Strikes

The big news out of the Midwest League is the Kane County Cougars getting six players into the All-Star game. Those players are Colin Bray, Ethan Elias, Cody Geyer, Marty Herum, Cody Regis, and Markus Solbach.

Finally, maybe I need to apologize to Stryker Trahan. Seems he has a point to make after striking (strykering) out so many times a few weeks ago. Last week he slugged his eighth home run while strykering out only one time in his 19 at-bats. He had 7 hits.
