1-A.J. Pollock

Since reaching a high in batting average of .326 on June 10th, Pollock has been in a bit of a slump. He has four hits over his last 28 at-bats in that span, going 1 for 14 in the four game series vs. the Angels. Is it a coincidence that this slide has taken place since Ender Inciarte went on the disabled list? Pollock has led off the last three games and registered only a walk and two sacrifice flies. While still enjoying an All-Star caliber season, some of the shine has been taken off his candidacy this week.
