Padres At Diamondbacks: 5 Players to Watch

It is always interesting when the former D’back returns to his old stomping grounds. Upton loves hitting against his former team as evidenced by his .357 batting average and .459 on-base percentage in 19 games. He has six home runs and 15 RBI’s in 85 career plate appearances vs. Arizona. Upton, a notoriously streaky hitter is on one of his downturns. In 58 at-bats in June, he has only ten hits, dropping his average 27 points from .302 to .275. I get the feeling that three games at Chase Field will send Upton back on to one of his patented hot stretches where he hits .500 over the next seven games.
