The San Diego catcher is quietly having one of the best seasons at his position this year. He was an All-Star last year with Oakland could very well be playing in the Mid-Summer Classic in 2015. Norris is batting .260 with 8 home runs and 40 RBI’s and has thrown out 36% of would-be basestealers. Unfortunately, he is another player that is in a swoon in June as his batting average has tumbled 27 points this month. Some of that can be attributed to the fact that he has caught three extra inning games over the last ten days while catching 11 of the team’s past 13 games. Norris has six hits in 27 at-bats vs. the Snakes in 2015.
