After an off-day on Monday, the Arizona Diamondbacks venture out on a six-game road trip to the division rival Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres. The D’backs just took care of San Diego, winning two of three games at Chase Field this weekend. They are now 34-35 and on Tuesday will be making their ninth attempt at getting back to .500, a mark they have not seen since April 24th.

The team also made quite a bit of news this weekend off the field. Out went Bronson Arroyo and 2014 first round pick Touki Toussaint to the Atlanta Braves for infielder Philip Gosselin. The Snakes also signed former Rockies’ pitcher Jhoulys Chacin to a Minor League deal. With the playoffs within shouting distance and the front office wheeling and dealing, this is an exciting time to be a fan of the Diamondbacks. With that in mind, here are five players to keep an eye on this week.
