3-Addison Reed

Knowing that this front office can stun us with unexpected trades, don’t you believe they wouldn’t hesitate to send a former closer with a 5.92 ERA packing? Reed’s latest implosion came Saturday night as he was torched for four runs in 2/3 of an inning turning a somewhat manageable 4-1 deficit into a rout. After having his stopper role taken away in May, he seemed to have ironed out some of his aliments. However, Reed has surrendered runs in three of his six June outings. In 24 1/3 innings, he has given up 31 hits and 11 walks. It would be hard to imagine him being designated outright but not so difficult to see him being dealt for the well-traveled player-to-be-named-later.
