After a brief five game stint at Chase Field, the Arizona Diamondbacks now head out to the road for six games, beginning with three contests against the Colorado Rockies. Arizona sits at 34-35, four games behind the National League West lead. Colorado is 30-39, in last place but only eight games back. They just took two out of three at Coors Field from the Milwaukee Brewers and like the D’backs, were off on Monday.

These two teams have played each other five times, with the Snakes holding a 4-1 edge. Their last games were a doubleheader in Colorado on May 6th, with the D’backs taking both contests by a combined score of 18-8. There is still one game to be made up from that series and it will take place on September 1st as part of a day-night doubleheader. But that’s a long way off. Today, we get you focused on the three games this week with five players to watch.
