The Rockies’ center fielder was an All-Star in 2014, and to me the game that him going was the one on April 4th vs. the D’backs when he went 6 for 6 with three doubles, a home run and five RBI’s. His damage to the Snakes wasn’t confined to that one game. Blackmon is a career .354 against the division rival in 156 plate appearances. He is 8 for 23 in five games vs. Arizona in 2015. For the season, Blackmon is hitting .275 with a .347 on-base percentage. He is hot right now, riding a six game hitting streak, with 10 hits in his last 23 at-bats.
