After going three innings on June 21st to collect his first career save, Chafin pitched in one game last week, a 1 2/3 inning outing on Wednesday. The rookie left-hander has become one of the most dependable arms in the bullpen. In the month of June, Chafin has allowed only one earned run in 12 2/3 innings. With Daniel Hudson pitching in three games the prior week, don’t be surprised if manager Chip Hale turns to Chafin more often in the week ahead.
