With the trade deadline looming, expect to hear rumors that Hill is on the block. The D’backs would love to get dump that $12 million dollars due to him in 2016. Trouble is, the market may not be all that big for a guy batting .223 with a .283 on-base percentage in 173 plate appearances. The Washington Nationals, thought to be interested a season ago, are back targeting the Snakes in the middle infield. With Chris Owings struggling, perhaps Hill gets a chance to increase his trade value.
