The Dbacks begin the week with a golden opportunity against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Only 6 games behind Los Angeles for the division lead, a good showing is all Arizona needs to help their confidence and get their names back in the race. Unfortunately, Arizona is only 2-7 against Los Angeles this season.

The last two series were especially abysmal. The boys in blue swept the snakes on two occasions and currently are on a 7 game winning streak against the Dbacks. This series will be another in which Arizona will escape the reaches of Clayton Kershaw and Zack Grienke. This time they have to make it count.
