The soon-to-be starter at first base at this year’s All-Star Game, Goldschmidt has compiled some hefty numbers against the Dodgers in 2015. In 37 plate appearances, he is hitting .417 with four home runs and ten RBI’s. Gonzalez once led Goldy in All-Star voting but the D’backs’ best player has pulled away and leads by millions of votes (literally). Lifetime, Goldschmidt is a .335 hitter in 285 plate appearances vs. Los Angeles with 17 home runs and 54 RBI’s. If Arizona is to win two out of three, it is their MVP candidate that has to go 6 for 11 with a couple of homers.
