Diamondbacks’ fans have to be wondering what did Bolsinger during the offseason that has made him a rotation mainstay. Being on a better team certainly helps. Tonight’s starting pitcher is now 4-2 with a 2.95 ERA as opposed to last year’s 1-6, 5.50 ERA performance. He beat his old teammates on June 8th, going seven innings and allowing two runs on three hits, walking two and striking out a career-best eight. Perhaps the shine is starting to wear off. Since that game, Bolsinger has gone only 14 2/3 innings in three starts allowing nine earned runs on 20 hits.
