Cron, taken in the 14th round of the 2014 Draft, is second in the California League in both home runs with 16 and RBI’s with 61. In June, he hit seven home runs and drove in 23 runs while slugging .602. His play helped the Rawhide clinch the first half title in the California League. In 2014, Cron helped lead the Hillsboro Hops to the Northwest League Championship.

Huang, who was named to the Futures Game last week, did not join the Cougars until the end of May. He made four starts in June and went 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA. In 24 innings, he allowed 20 hits and only four walks while striking out 23. For the season, Huang is 3-1 with a 1.51 ERA in seven starts. Kane County finished third in the first half of Midwest League play with a 36-32 record.
