Arizona’s young third baseman seems to be coming out of his slump after a six week stay on the disabled list. Lamb went 3 for 10 in two games at Coors Field last week and has hit in five of his last eight games. He has also scored six runs in that span. Manager Chip Hale has indicated that Lamb will see even more appearances against left-handers, cementing his place as the team’s everyday player at the hot corner. Last year on August 29th, vs. Colorado at Chase Field, Lamb provided one of the highlights of the season with an eight-inning grand slam off Adam Ottavino to give the D’backs a 5-2 victory.
