The Rangers’ first baseman is in the middle of a career season. He is easily on pace to shatter his single season best totals in numerous offensive categories. Moreland leads Texas in home runs with 14 and is second behind Fielder in both batting average (.292) and RBI’s (44). It is a great bounce-back season for him as his 2014 campaign was wrecked due to reconstructive surgery on his left ankle. His re-emergence at first base allows the team to use Fielder in the DH spot every day.
