Now we come to the guy I will be voting for. Like Martinez, Familia hasn’t faced the Snakes all that much (two saves in two appearances). While I am from New York, it’s not the reason why I am voting for him. It just so happens that I have seen him more than the other four players. Based on the numbers, Familia has been outstanding. He has 23 saves in 25 opportunities with 41 strikeouts in 39 2/ innings. His ERA is 1.12 and he has allowed only 23 hits.
