Diamondbacks at Mets: 5 Players to Watch

He has been shuffled all over the infield during his time in the Majors. As of now, the Mets seem to have settled on Flores at second with Daniel Murphy at third until David Wright gets back (if he does in 2015). Perhaps the settling of one position has given him a boost at the dish. He is sizzling in July, batting .419 in eight games, including a 2 for 3 showing against Clayton Kershaw. New York is sporadic on defense and perhaps the best spot for Flores in the field is at second base. On a team with playoff aspirations that is dreadful on offense, the Flores outburst needs to continue if the Mets want to catch Washington in the standings.
