After spending six weeks on the disabled list with a foot injury, the D’backs’ third baseman struggled upon his return. However, since June 26th, Lamb has returned to being the hitter he was to open the season. He has enjoyed five multi-hit games and has eight hits in his last 15 plate appearances. His average is back over .300 and he is getting on base at a 37.2% clip. His play at the hot corner is a prime reason why the Snakes have one of the best defenses in the game. Lamb had zero hits in five at-bats the last time these two teams met.
