Chip Hale Updates Diamondbacks Second Half Rotation

Yesterday Arizona Diamondbacks Manager Chip Hale announced that his starting rotation would look like this to begin the second half:
1. LHP Robbie Ray
2. RHP Jeremy Hellickson
3. LHP Patrick Corbin
4. RHP Rubby De La Rosa
5. RHP Chase Anderson.
Hale’s goal with this order was to first of all maximize the amount of rest for his starters, and to mix up Anderson and Hellickson who both have similar pitching styles.
Going lefty righty is also a good idea in order to maximize the number of different looks against an opposing hitter.

Today the Dbacks official twitter page announced that Hellickson and Anderson will flip and the order will look like this when the team opens the 2nd half against the Giants.
1. LHP Robbie Ray
2. RHP Chase Anderson
3. LHP Patrick Corbin
4. RHP Rubby De La Rosa
5. RHP Jeremy Hellickson
This change is of course because of Hellickson blister. They want him to get extended rest. He will pitch on the 21st against the Marlins.
