2-A.J. Pollock

This will be Pollock’s first All-Star appearance as he was chosen as a reserve by Giants’ manager Bruce Bochy. However, this should actually be his second as his trip to Minnesota last year was derailed by a Johnny Cueto fastball on May 30th. With 100 hits, 11 home runs and 19 stolen bases, Pollock is putting up numbers that scream for attention. I keep listening to how Goldschmidt is “under-the-radar”. If that is the case, what does that make Pollock? He didn’t even finish in the top 15 in fan voting yet he is establishing himself as one of the premier players at his position.
