The Athletics have had a disapointing season. Despite being 5-5 in their last 10 games, they are 41-50 and occuping last place in the A.L. West. Despite this, Oakland has plenty of pitching including Sonny Gray who has dominanted this season leading the junior circuit in ERA (2.04), ERA+ (188), H9 (6.5), and HR9 (0.4). Look for them to be active sellers at the deadline as Billy Beane’s formula is cleary not working.
