4-Jake Lamb

The D’backs’ third baseman has handled the Giants well in 2015. He has seven hits in 21 at-bats with 9 of his 17 RBI’s coming against San Francisco. Lamb, like most of the Arizona offense, sputtered in the final series against the Mets. He went 0 for 9 with five strikeouts. Prior to those three contests, he had 8 hits in his previous 19 at-bats. If the D’backs are to make up any ground on the teams in front of them, Lamb will have to be more consistent in the 5-hole.
