Diamondbacks’ Prospect Cody Reed Dominates Again

The hottest pitcher in the organization of the Arizona Diamondbacks throws for the Hillsboro Hops of the Class A Northwest League. Left-hander Cody Reed turned in another dominating performance on Friday night, limiting the Eugene Emeralds to a single hit over seven innings as the Hops were victorious by a score of 2-0. Only Ian Happ‘s double with two outs in the seventh inning prevented a perfect outing by the Hops’ ace.
