3-Jose Fernandez

The young superstar missed most of 2014 and a good chunk of 2015 due to Tommy John surgery. Since he returned on July 2nd, Fernandez hasn’t skipped a beat.  He is 2-0 with a 2.37 ERA over 19 innings pitched in three starts. Fernandez has struck out 21 while walking only one batter. He even hit a home run in his first game back. Fernandez has one career start vs. the D’backs which took place on June 19th, 2013. He went 7 1/3 innings, allowing three earned runs on three hits as Arizona won by a score of 3-1.
