Allen Webster

Calling up Webster would create plenty of groans considering his performances with Arizona this season. In fact, his numbers in Reno (AAA) don’t give any more confidence either. Webster was called up in early June to replace a struggling Collmenter in the bullpen. Before the month was over, Webster found himself back in Reno.

Webster was unable to produce a quality start in his four tries, although his 2015 debut was a victory against San Francisco. Webster never made it over 6 innings in any of his starts and his last two had him go fewer than 5 innings. Webster is 1-1 with a 7.11 ERA in Arizona. With Reno, Webster is 2-3 with a 7.78 ERA. However, Webster remains on the 40-man roster and his call-up wouldn’t require someone getting DFA’d.
