A month ago, he was at Single A Visalia. Today he makes his Major League debut. Godley was called up becauce Chase Anderson went on the disabled list due to arm fatigue. He came to the D’backs along with Jeferson Mejia in the deal that sent Miguel Montero to the Chicago Cubs. The right-handed Godley was 8-3 with a 2.27 ERA in 14 appearances (12 starts) for the Rawhide before being promoted to Double A Mobile. He made three starts for the Bay Bears going 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA. The 25-year old Godley was named the California League Pitcher of the Week for games played April 20th-April 26th.
