After an injury-plagued 2014, the Toronto Blue Jays traded him to the Brewers in exchange for pitcher Marco Estrada. Lind has responded with a solid campaign, leading the Crew in RBI’s with 58 and tied for the club lead in home runs with 16. His .515 slugging percentage is his best mark in that category since his career year of 2009 when he slugged .562, bashing 35 homers and driving in 114 runs. With an $8 million dollar team option for 2016 or a $500,000 buyout, Lind is not only attractive to other teams seeking a bat but also to the Brewers should they decide not to do a complete rebuild for 2016.
