2-Oliver Perez

Two relievers from Arizona should be in high demand. We have already covered how much teams covet Brad Ziegler. The other one who isn’t is getting as much talk but should is Ollie P. His contract is up at the end of the year and with the D’backs needing to see more in terms of youth from guys such as Matt Stites and Jake Barrett, getting something for the veteran lefty, even with a low return, makes sense. Perez has not allowed a run since June 15th and given up only four hits, a span covering 15 appearances. Though dealing him would weaken a somewhat shaky area of the club, this team is not making a playoff push and it is doubtful he would be re-signed for 2016.
