3-Felix Hernandez

Playing in the NL West, the D’backs routinely see some of the best pitchers in baseball. This would include Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke and Madison Bumgarner. On Wednesday, they get their shot at one one of the very best in the AL, the King. Hernandez made the All-Star team for the sixth time in his career and leads the league in wins with 12 and shutouts with 2. He is on pace to make 30 starts again this year, the tenth consecutive season he has reached that mark, unheard of today. The 29-year old Hernandez has 124 strikeouts and only 39 walks in 130 1/3 innings. He is under contract until 2019 so there is no talk of trading Seattle’s most valuable player despite its underwhelming 2015 campaign.
