3-Jose Altuve

The defending AL Batting Champion, Altuve was also the starting second baseman in this year’s All-Star Game. He leads the league in stolen bases with 28 and is seventh in hits with 116. Altuve has already hit nine homes runs, a career-best and his 49 RBI’s are on pace to easily eclipse last year’s 59, also a personal best. Still only 25, his best years are sure to be coming. A three-time All-Star, Altuve has sweated through the worst of times in Houston, enduring three consecutive 100-loss seasons. He is now the catalyst on a championship-caliber club.
