4-David Peralta

The one-time pitcher just keeps getting better. Like Pollock, July has been very kind to Peralta. He is hitting .311 with 13 extra-base hits and 15 RBI’s. Peralta leads the NL in triples with eight and has already exceeded last year’s totals in home runs (9) and RBI’s (47). After getting drilled in the head by Jose Fernandez on July 22nd, Peralta proceeded to record six hits over his next 17 at-bats. Between Peralta, Pollock, Ender Inciarte and Yasmany Tomas, manager Hale has done a good job finding playing time for each of his capable men.
