Washington’s 2nd baseman, who finished 5th in the NL MVP race in 2014 has been limited to 113 appearances this year due to injuries. Since his return from the latest DL stint, Rendon has eight hits in 29 at-bats. If Harper is going to get any help in leading the Nats to their third playoff spot in four seasons, it is Rendon that needs to re-discover his previous year’s form. The 6th overall pick of the 2011 Draft, I expect Rendon to make a lot of noise over the next four days.
