4-Jake Lamb

The D’backs’ third baseman had a flair for extra-innings dramatics last week. On Monday, his sacrifice fly was the difference as Arizona beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in 10 innings. On Friday, his solo home run provided insurance in the Snakes’ 6-4, 10 inning win over the Houston Astros. Over his last seven games, Lamb has eight hits in 24 at-bats with a home run and five RBI’s. He missed almost two months earlier in the year with a foot injury and is starting to hit just as the D’backs envisioned he would.
