Jake Lamb

Stock Watch: Hot

So Far in the Month of August: 39 PA, .306 AVG, 11 H, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 2 RBI, .357 BABIP, 127 wRC+

Jake Lamb is another reason why the Diamondbacks offense hasn’t missed a beat since Goldy went into a slump.

Lamb went 9 for 27 (.333) during Goldschmidt’s mini slump to begin the month of August and has helped the Dbacks take over the N.L. lead in runs scored along with Castillo, Peralta, and Pollock.

Lamb is part of the growth of this team from last year. If Goldy wasn’t hitting last season, nobody was hitting, and the Dbacks as a result didn’t win many games. This year they dont need to rely on him which is really cool for this team going forward.

If Jake continues his strong performances at third and at the plate, he will a fixture for the Dbacks for years to come.
