The Arizona Diamondbacks will look to even up their record once again as they take on the struggling Atlanta Braves.

News and Notes:
- The Diamondbacks have yet another chance to even up their record at .500. A win today would push them to 57-57.
- Much like the Diamondbacks celebrated Hall of Famer Randy Johnson last week, the Atlanta Braves will be honoring their own tonight in John Smoltz.
- The Diamondbacks are coming off a series where they scored 32 runs. Can they keep the offensive power going?
- Earlier in the day, general manager Tony Stewart said the team plans on making Paul Goldschmidt a Diamondback for life.
- The Diamondbacks begin the first game of a 10 game road trip that they should perform well on facing Atlanta and Cincinnati. Their toughest series will be against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
