You would be hard-pressed to find a hotter player in baseball. Peralta is hitting .435 in 52 August plate appearances and has driven in 30 runs over his last 36 games. He leads the National League in triples with eight and his 62 RBI’s are second on the team behind Paul Goldschmidt‘s 86. Peralta’s .304 batting average is third on the D’backs behind Goldschmidt at .337 and A.J. Pollock at .313. Two weeks ago, Zach Buchanan sent out an interesting tweet about the 28-year old Peralta that should give Snakes’ fans some food for thought:
If the Dbacks weren't horrible last year, would David Peralta be a starting big-league outfielder right now? Would he still be anonymous?
