Arizona Diamondbacks Need to Promote Bullpen Arms

This piece up until now has centered around the bullpen but if Ray and Chase Anderson continually fail to go deep into games then Chacin is more than capable of replacing one of them. The ex-Colorado Rockie has enjoyed a good deal of success in Triple A this year with a record of 6-6 and a 3.26 ERA in 18 starts. Those numbers include the seven outings he made for the Columbus Clippers of the Cleveland Indians’ organization. He had a chance to opt out of his Minor League deal with the D-backs in July if he was not in the Majors. After tonight, one could easily see Chacin make his next appearance in a Major League uniform.
