4-Aaron Hill

The guy that everyone is waiting for to get traded has quietly had himself quite a stretch. He has 14 hits in his last 47 at-bats, including a 3 for 7 night during the D-backs’ 15 inning loss on Tuesday. Hill is once again in the starting lineup tonight, batting fifth and playing third base. Out of Hill, Nick Ahmed and Chris Owings, it is the veteran that has the better overall offensive numbers. He is the only one with an on-base percentage over .300 (.301) with almost equal production in home runs and RBI’s despite 100 fewer at-bats than the other two players. Hill has six home runs in 103 lifetime plate appearances against Cincinnati pitching.
