2-Silvino Bracho

The rookie right-hander, who made his Major League debut on Sunday, took the Zack Godley route to the Majors. Bracho began the season at Class A Visalia and is now with the D-backs. In between, he put up some impressive numbers at Double A Mobile with a 1.60 ERA in 43 games for the BayBears. In 50 2/3 innings, Bracho allowed only 35 hits and ten walks while striking out 73. The 23-year old from Venezuela was signed as a free agent in 2012 and came onto the organization’s radar with 26 saves at Class A South Bend in 2014. With four games in Colorado this week, expect Bracho to get more opportunities to showcase himself for next season.
