A fan favorite in Arizona for nine years, Miggy was dealt to the Cubs in the offseason for two Minor Leaguers, including one named Zack Godley. Montero spent nearly a month on the disabled list earlier this year because of a sprained thumb. He is enjoying a solid initial campaign in Chicago with 14 home runs and 44 RBI’s to go along with a .338 on-base percentage. In the previous series at Chase Field, Miggy received a nice ovation and gave the crowd a solo home run, his only hit in the series.
