2-Nick Ahmed

With the promotion of Brandon Drury and the activation of Philip Gosselin, the guy who has lost playing time is Ahmed. He was 2 for 7 in Chicago with a triple and a home run. July and August were tough months for the rookie, hitting under .190. Ahmed has shown some pop this season with eight home runs and five triples in 422 plate appearances. Perhaps the grind of a first full Major League season has worn on the 25-year old Ahmed. Arizona has a surplus of middle infielders and some tough decisions will be made. Is Ahmed staying or going?
