3-Philip Gosselin

For most the Summer, he was the Invisible Man, having been on the disabled list when Arizona acquired him for a salary dump (Bronson Arroyo) and a first round pick (Touki Toussaint). When finally activated, Gosselin has made the most of his opportunity. He has five hits, three of them for extra bases, in 19 at-bats with an on-base percentage of .417. He is still just 26 and is under club control for the foreseeable future. Gosselin can also play second and third bases, reminding us of a better-hitting Cliff Pennington. Having given up a lot for his acquisition, it is anything but certain that Gosselin will be flipped in the offseason.
