The lefty has made a nice return from Tommy John surgery. He has allowed three earned runs in 8 2/3 innings, covering ten appearances. His control is still a little off as his six walks indicate. However, Reynolds has struck out 13, punctuated by a two inning, five strikeout performance on Friday night vs. the Dodgers. The 30-year old Reynolds is under club control for the next couple of seasons and it remains to be seen if he can continue to progress from Triple A depth to bullpen mainstay. He’ll get an opportunity in Spring Training.
