Here is another guy whose game has picked up since the calendar has flipped to September. Inciarte has nine hits in his last 26 at-bats, with five base knocks in the Dodgers’ series. He is as steady as it gets, with his average hovering around .300 all season and his exciting play on the bases. Inciarte is third on the team in stolen bases with 17. It is hard to believe his on-base percentage is only .333 because it seems as though every time the D-backs have a big inning, he is right in the middle of it. With a surplus of outfielders and O’Brien Major League ready, management has some decisions regarding who stays and who goes. Inciarte is making a great case for himself to remain in the desert.
