One of the few D-backs who have enjoyed sustained success against San Diego this season is the All-World first baseman. Goldschmidt is hitting .333 with a .434 on-base percentage and three home runs off Padres’ pitching. However, it’s been a rough two week stretch for Goldy as he is hitting under .200 over his last 15 games. His 99 RBI’s is second in the National League while his .431 on-base percentage is third. Here is hoping a glimpse at the Friars gets him out of this rough patch.
