The Arizona Diamondbacks hit the road again after yet another disappointing home stand. They went 4-5 against three National League West opponents, the same three they will be facing on this ten game road trip. On their previous stay at home, the D-backs were a woeful 1-6 at Chase Field, punctuated by a four game sweep at the hands of the St. Louis Cardinals. Arizona is now 35-40 in Phoenix, 69-77 overall and in third place in the National League West.

Up first is a stop in San Francisco and three games against the Giants. The defending champs will not get a chance to defend their title in postseason play as they are 77-69, 7 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in the division and eight games out of a Wild Card spot. This is the final meeting in 2015 between the D-backs and Giants with the Snakes holding a 9-7 edge. On their last trip to AT&T Park June 13th-June 15th, the D-backs swept the series, shutting out San Francisco twice. Here are five players to watch as the season changes to Fall.
