1-Madison Bumgarner

There will be no October magic from the big left-hander this year. All Bumgarner has done since his epic performance last Fall is follow up with the best season of his career. He is 18-7 with a 2.91 ERA and leads the National League in complete games with four and shutouts with two. In his last outing on September 12th, Bumgarner was perfect for 7 2/3 innings before a Melvin Upton single ruined his at another historical feat. It was the only baserunner he allowed in an 8-0 Giants’ victory. Bumgarner is 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA in four starts vs. the D-backs in 2015 and 8-5 with a 2.63 ERA in 22 games over the course of his career against them.
