Though he only came to Arizona at the beginning of June, Beef is tied with A.J. Pollock for second place on the team in home runs with 17. At some point one would have figured that Castillo would have slowed down after having such a torrid ten week stretch. That hasn’t been the case as he is hitting .305 over the past month with four home runs. The good news for the Snakes is he is under club control for the next three years. Against the Giants this season, Castillo is hitting .318 with a.348 on-base percentage in 23 plate appearances.
