San Francisco’s shortstop, brilliant in the field, is now showing some power at the plate. Crawford has 19 home runs and 77 RBI’s, both career bests while hitting a respectable .255. He was chosen to his first All-Star Game this season. Crawford hasn’t played since these two teams met in Arizona earlier this month because of a calf issue but is expected to be in the lineup tonight. The lefty-swinging Crawford has 15 hits in 57 at-bats vs. D-backs pitching this year and is a lifetime .265 hitter against them with 23 RBI’s, his second most against any club.
